UNBUTTONED...
Killers stalk the land,
Today night is dark without moon
Deafening silence engulfed the city
Red oleanders bleeding
Silenced hooter of ambulance
Walking along the empty street
Unbuttoned words pile up into the head
Stale flowers that have turned to stone
Clouds swallowed the moon and stars
A murmur of leaves on the empty streets
Prayers of priest and barking of dogs
Echoed in phantom fear
Huddled corpses on the corridor
Whispers of doctor and health workers
An unknown enemy
Lonely city clenched her fists in anger
The smell of death mingled with the dry summer air
Cries echoed in despair...
